We know you can't wait for the new club! Behind the scenes, we're working hard building NewMoonClub.com, a fun, safe place for girls to be themselves.

Sneak a Peak!

I love your magazine! It is really helping me through my preteen years. It has even inspired me to write my own magazine, "Journey, the Magazine for Creative Girls". When I read Dear Luna, I see that there are many girls out there with their own opinions and I respect all of them. I like that when you print a letter that supports an issue, you usually print another letter that comes from a different point of view. For example, if I wrote a letter that said I did not like the job President Bush is doing, you would publish a letter that praises him. I think that is neat. Please, keep up the good work!.

Dear Jenna

Dear Jenna, I lost my dad over a year ago too; he was a BIG influence on my life. I’m still not over it, and that‘s normal. When I came back to school a week after he died, my friends were really supportive. If yours aren't supportive, and you just want to be alone, tell them! Just remember to say you aren’t mad at them. You could also talk to them individually and say how you’re feeling. Don’t be afraid to cry. If they are your true friends, they’ll be there for you all the time. Good luck! Emily, 12, California

Ask a Girl,

My mom died over a year ago and I can't get over it. My friends are trying to support me, but one of my best friends gets mad at me realy easily. She makes me realy upset when she yells at me and walks away. We ended the school year not being very good friends. Our other friend always tries to help resolve it, but she just makes it worse. I still want to be both of their friends, but I want to tell them what their doing without hurting their feelings. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Ask a Girl,

As I recently told you about the boy who screams my name outside of school, were really good friends. He's also a class clown and everybody either is or wants to be his friend. My best friend really likes him and I'm afraid she'll get mad if he likes me. HELP!!!!!

Dear Drew

Dear Drew -- you're right! Girls and women of all ages are beautiful. New Moon magazine focuses on girls ages 8 - 12, which is why we focus on girls that age in our 25 Beautiful Girls issue. But you should definitely let the girls and women of all ages in your life know how beautiful they are to you! Love, Luna.
